Carb jetting

Using an air filter goes a long way in mitigating the effects of reversion.

The stock gas nozzle size is about .101" inside diameter.
Steve says he has increases that to .106" inside diameter.
A larger diameter nozzle will require a smaller main jet size.
This would account for the discrepancies in your calculations.

That is a 10.107% change in area.

Stock E tube
Pilot jet - .022"

Main Jet sizes
Unrestricted - .048"
Black - .049"
Gold - .050"
Blue - .051"
Purple - .052"
Intriguing, .048" to a .052" (17.4% increase in area) Do you have any theories on why the different restrictors have such a huge need for increases in fuel?

Damn, people. I come to Bob's Forum to get answers, and all you find is arguments. How about if we go back to helping people.
