Is there a rule of thumb for chain/crossmember clearance? I am seeing some chain slap on the frame (I touch up the paint to see if changing sprockets etc helps). but I think the chain moves oscillates a lot on the track either acceleration or deceleration - even if we are running small sprockets/drivers.

It seems more cosmetic than anything but still it seems bad to have the chain contacting the frame at all. Are there any chain tensioners/guides etc that could be bolted on? Will moving the drive sprocket outboard create more clearance on an angled cross member?
