Chain

I know vague questions end up with lots of opinions, but I am new to this. I am trying to tinker with the little things to upgrade my 7yr. old's kart. Going to get a new chain to go with a new clutch and drivers. Is there something which would be best? Its only a red plate Clone, but a really competetive class. We are chasing hundredths of a second now. Please go easy on me. Just curious to see if there is a brand or a particular type I should find.

Ek gold or silver, or Regina is the best you can get chain wise. Proper maintenance will last 2 seasons or more without excessive wear and won't kink up if you choose to keep it that long. But, proper maintenance is a must.

EK Silver Pro is my preference on chain. RLV Gold on Gold is good too. Bully clutch is my preference.
As with most anything in racing, it's as much in how you prepare and maintain these items that counts too.
