Champion Speedway/ Action Park East 2023

The sister tracks have a number of things going on that are fairly interesting in 2023

Champion Kartway is going to remain a weekly Friday night track, with a 5 race Tuesday night summer series.

Both tracks will run DXMP Ghost 360 and 410. These are open body rule karts that use a sealed Predator Ghost engine and Hi-run Turf tires. 6.5” on rear, 5” on front. These are a 13” tire, so they get the karts about 1.5” off the ground. The class was started in September this past season and put on phenomenal racing, seeing 2 and 3 wide racing consistently. It grew to 12 karts in 3 weeks as a single 360 pound class. This year, we split it into 360 and 410 pound classes, and expect 25-30 karts between the two.

The Xtreme Budget Predator class remains the entry level class, with the only rule major change will be allowing a champ nose to protect the feet.

A part time champ kart class is starting up this season. The champs will run a no-prep treaded Burris tx-33 tire. They will run 5 races at Action Park East, all 5 Tuesday shows at Champion, and 5 Saturday shows at Champion.

The 4th running of The 212! Will be at Action Park in October. This year saw 83 karts attempt to qualify.
