Chavous Body

Who runs either a Chavous Slipstream or Skyline + on a Slack Pursuit with the tall pedal set up? Does everything clear ok? What size are the drivers feet? The PMC site mentions needing the short pedal set up which I’m not interested in switching to. I’ve also chatted with them and they say neither of the Chavous bodies fit with the tall pedals. I’m just trying to make sure I explore all my options before going a different route on the next body.

This says it all.

Shoe size is another issue , 13's need lots of space .

my shoe size is a 12. My predator kart is a Phantom Deuce with an original skyline. If I run my more rigid bottom race shoes my foot gets hung up. If I run with a pair of flexible sneaker or dudes… no issues. I’d rather not deal with any issues on the clone kart.

Maybe see if another racer has a junk slipstream or + body just to see.
Definitely have started asking around. I’m pretty sure 1 guy was running the + and his feet have got to be bigger than mine. Just waiting for him to get back to me.

The standard pedals on the Pursuit are close to any chavous nose on the brake side, it will hit fully extended and your foot is touching the nose. The + will have the most room. The pedals on the Elevate I believe are the short ones, but just quick glancing they aren't noticeably different. Highly doubt you'd notice a difference on your foot, but they do have more clearance than the stock pursuit pedals which will help.

Slipstream won’t work with the tall pedals. All the skylines should work but you may have to lean your pedals a little for full clearance. I ran skyline 1s on my Pursuits and have been running the Skyline+ on the Elevate.

The pedals may annoy some people but I never noticed it when racing.

Thanks. Chavous sent me some photos with measurements inside the nose, so I went with the +. Should have some time to fit it either tomorrow or Wednesday. Also talked to a local guy who is taller and has a size larger foot than me who said he just mounts his a little further forward and trims the backside of the wheel openings to clear.

I was using the talladega body from kinetic on mine. Pedal clearance and wide enough the tires won't stick out even running rf spacer
