I figure it would eliminate piston rock but wonder about all the weight that is added to the rotating assemblie/assemblies.

Basically, the Rotax did this with a balance shaft and isn't a diesel...cool machinery though. Google needs a "translate" button for YouTube vids....

Cool that they got to the prototype / running stage...most projects never make it that far...
