Cheetah

My driver's preferred clutch is a cheetah.
Own 4 other brands, cannot get the feel she likes except with this one.

Aluminum drum wears, and needs constant attention, but discs and drums can be exchanged with other brands to give similar performance.
I like the tomar drum to keep with the 3 tab discs from noram, but I have used smc black discs and drum.

The pressure plate and for sure backing plate are thinner and suspect to warping with heat (as is any clutch.)
I prefer genuine Bully clutches, but we work on them all.
Proper set up and maintenance go a long way on any brand of clutch. Take care of it, and it will perform it's best.

I can totally understand this one… on my stock flatheads I like the feel and take off of the vortex clutch over that of a bully

If you do not have the funds for a bully I would suggest a greased lightning clutch. Very good and easy clutch to work with. And a lot of clutch builders still service and/or rebuild these clutches.
