For those of you who know him here or at the races, unfortunately I have sad news. I got a call from his daughter and she told me both Chuck and his wife were hit head on by a driver who crossed the line and both passed away. In the last years Chuck has been my best racing buddy and a good friend who introduced me to laydowns and Daytona. Those who have been road racing WKA for a long time surely know him. He also raced UAS on dirt in the Carolinas area and at the UAS GN. I have spent hours setting up go karts at his house just over an hour from me. I really have no words.

RIP.... Sorry for their family's loss, and for yours, Santiago. Had just traded messages with him not long ago... Such a shame.

Here we are when he drove with me to get my new toy.

So sad, Chuck was such a nice guy, very helpful. Kathy was understanding of Chuck's passion for karting. This leaves a big hole. will be missed.
