clamp size

Want to order a mount from comet, and the clamp size options are I30/k28 and I32/k30..... I have no idea what that means


Any help?
 
I assume that "I" meaning International rail spacing and 32 / 30 meaning 32mm dia or 30mm dia. So is that what your wanting or do you want American spacing and size?
 
American is the narrower of the two I'm pretty sure Bobby... Friend of mine ordered American thinking it was right (makes sense) and was too small

Could the difference in numbers be 1 1/4 vs 1 3/8 rails?
 
The difference is in center to center of the tubing. Most karts now days are international spacing. I make my butterfly's capture the outside rail and float the inside rail. That way they'll work on either. If you need butter fly's Bob just hollar we can make what you need.
 
American is seldom used now a days. Think Coyote, older shadows ect. Most use International now except Millennium and Rage which are friggen huge.
 
I got it figured out finally. The mount will be perfect for the twins, and if the butterflies don't fit right, I will let Tim know.
