cleaning up old tools

I have a bunch of old misc. tools that have been in a barn for years---I'd like to clean them up---what is the best way to get them in shape to sell----surface rust etc. Thanks for any suggestions, John
 
I make a ball out of aluminum foil and that works well at taking rust of. If I dont have a rust remover around I use stuff that is acidic like lemon juice and lime juice with baking soda. But a wire wheel and rust remover work the best.
