Clone carb ?

I was replacing the fuel line on my kart and were I put the line on the carb its leaking. What does everyone use to stop this from happening?

I wrap ours with safety wire either twice around pulled tight and twisted or use about 5 inches folded over in the middle and wrapped once pulled tight and twisted.

Did your carb have a smaller hose inside the 1/4" on the inlet ? that's how I've always seen them come, then tied off with a zip tie or safety wire.

Get a piece of the black overflow hose that actually fits the diameter of the inlet tubing. Cut about a half inch of it and place it on the inlet. I then use a heat gun to soften my fuel line on the end and slip that OVER the black tubing that fits the inlet. Use a zip tie to secure the fuel line. Without this black tubing on the inlet your quarter inch fuel line will leak.
