Clutch springs

To lower the RPMs when the clutch engages, do I turn springs in or out? Martin 2 disk
Pretty sure it would be in (clockwise) about 100 RPMs per qtr turn. That sound right? Thanks for any info

Turning them "out" counterclockwise will lower the rpm engagement - about 150 rpm per 1/4 turn.
Don't feel bad - you're not the first one to get this backwards, and won't be the last. :)

You want to work in the range of your springs. If the springs get too relaxed consider adding some weight to your levers.

Thanks for the replies. I actually did have it right, I meant to say "raise the rpms" lol. Thank you guys for the help.
