Yes, and they work well in two extreme conditions -- either no bite with very low psi (ie the syrup freezes or no syrup at all), and when the track really bites up hard with rubber.
We've been working a lot of Hoosier A40s lately for the exact same reason. When they're fast, they're all but untouchable. :)
