T two Member Sep 9, 2020 #1 New battery new solenoid worked fine then quit. Batttery and solenoid still working. Switched out with a buddy’s. So leaves the gear box or whatever. Anything I can check or is it shot??

flattop1 Dawg 89 Sep 9, 2020 #3 The brushes might be stuck . Did you bang on it or rotate the armature ? Direct too the starter via jumpers .

OVALTECH1 Site Supporter Sep 9, 2020 #4 The gearbox went in mine. Held button down and lines lines started smoking. I thought it was the starter itself gear in gearbox broke and froze it up.
