What ratio jackshaft?
Anything done to the engine performance-wise?
5000 sounds very high, but it really depends on your ratio.
We've built clutches for the 250s and 450s through a jackshaft, but the engagement was in the low to mid 3,000 rpms.

1.65 hegar jackshaft. lots of mods. went a little crazy, took trans off after daytona. i thought it was a little high. i will bring it down thanks
