We have just been out having fun for a couple years but now we want to get a little more competitive and still have fun. Newer kart this year” 2019 slack “ and motor getting tuned. Getting a lot of help from other racers as well. Everyone seems to be saying tires are really important so I’m just trying to see what is needed to get max speed and handling

buy new ones, at least 2 or 3 sets. If you are mainly running 1 or 2 tracks you should have an idea where you need to be. If you aren't sure still where you need to be find someone that sells prep in your area thats willing to help

I run 11s a lot, when the track is tacky/kind of moist I pull the sticker off and run it. When it dries out and times pick up I’d be more worried about cutting
