Matching a pair of T50’s for a vintage twin enduro. Walbros have been with alky HL360’s. How much are you guys removing from the piston skirt to safely increase intake timing? I’m matching the engines, not making modifieds out of them. Thanks in advance.
 
I haven't modified any T50s at all, but I'd recommend a quick check to make sure that it won't free-port (out the exhaust) with that amount off.

Thanks guys. Seems in my mind that at one time I was told .030 but that was a loooong time ago and my memory’s not what it used to be to recall if true or not.

I have some T-50s that I will sell. One was Mark Dismores engine from CKS and its built as an open. It has some awesome port work by Mark Harrison. It’s still 100cc.
