decreasing timing using arc 6619 flywheel

Alot of good information here.. I think many like myself have spent alot of time with moving ignition timing and coil gaps over the years only to end up right back where we started to get best performance on the dyno and racetrack.
440 is not too hot and if you're not running these kind of head temps on big pipe adult engines then your exhaust gas and air/fuel ratio are too low.
Carburetors make more horsepower on the racetrack when air bleeds are tuned properly to give constant A/F ratio throughout the range. If carb is tuned properly and you have cylinder straight with the right compression ring that's lapped on top, bottum and OD you'll have more cylinder pressure and make more horsepower.

I know someone is gonna slam me for this but if your not seeing the change in head temps with the jet changes I would be looking into my kart being to tight or as some would say locked down
