Different Axle lengths and wall thicknesses questions

Pretty new to the dirt Karting Scene. I have a buddy that has late model dirt raced for years and he is helping me with set up at times. I've been doing asphalt Sprint Karting for a couple of years. My questions are below.

I have a 2009 Trick Olympic Champ Kart I bought and running Stock Predator Adult Cage class in. in our class we run a spec turf tire so the only stagger is pretty much on the front as there is not much of a choice in the tire sizes. we can not run spacers to get the wheels out any further than the axle allows. No restriction on the axle length though to my knowledge. I'm currently running a 33" 1.25" .190 thk axle

1. preferences of the .120 vs the .190 axle. the .120 will give me more flex I'm just wondering about longevity.
2. does anyone run an 1.25" aluminum axle for better flex?

Thanks for any help any feed back will be greatly appreciated.

Axles come in 36 inch lengths .
Aluminum will flex , it will also bend easier .
Same with the thin and thick , then again they all bend if hit right .
Thick , thin or aluminum ?

the 36" length seems to be what everyone else has but the one on this Kart is 33" I measured it when I took it out to see what length to buy
