Digital Air Gauge ?

The intercomp blue one many seem to use is $299, long acre has one for $50. They are both good companies, where’s the $250 Price Difference?

Not knowing exactly which models your talking about. Doesn't help .
A true digital or an analog with a chip ?
Accouracy or % of error matters at 5.3 lbs .
Im sure theres a difference .

The intercomp is .1% and he longacre is .5%.
What do you mean by chip?

Longacre's $50 digital gauge reads in .2lb increments but is limited to 60PSI max. The $300 Intercomp reads in 0.1lb increments and is limited to 100 and 150PSI. It comes down to how precise you want to be. We use the Intercomp but the Longacre is perfectly fine as well.

As stated before, use one gauge all weekend and check its calibration often.

I don't think the quality of the two can even be compared - BUT at that price difference, I'm sure that Longacre will sell many.
I've seen guys use pencil style gauges and win races....An air gauge is a tool - a tool is an investment. You can buy SnapOn or you can buy Harbor Freight...both will work to get the job done, one just not as well or for as long.
