Dirt oval flat kart to mini wedge conversion

So I was wondering if I could covert my flat karr into a mini wedge by welding a cage, doorbars, and the other stuff, could I?

If there's any kind of rulebook for those things it won't pass any tech. That frame picture you put up is way longer and way different than a flat kart.

The quick answer is likely YES, but the rulebook is sparse and there's quite a few variations out there.
