Does cold weather affect your outside tire prepping on red clay?

Are track conditions affected by cold weather?
like low 40’s.
Will the track create more bite due to cold or will it have another effect?
Or should you prep your tire for the same track as you would for warmer like summer?
This is in reference to outside prep and Maxxis Tires,

Track would not create more grip, you would not prep outside same as during summer, difference could be just more of same prep, could be need little more aggressive prep, in either case good chance prep would need applied with heat, good chance hot box would help a lot, possibly might end up with little more internal prep than during the summer as well.
As an example we have a track here during summer would be 80 cc internal maxxis wiped during the week with some medium base prep, then at the track race day wipe hard track VS late fall a lot colder would be 120 cc internal wiped twice as much medium base prep during the week, then wipe medium base prep at the track and use a hot box.

So if the tires do not absorb prep well due to being cold during prepping what would be the possible outcome of perforomance?

Wow that’s great knowledge.
if I can ask another question -
what is considered a wiping? Wetting a pad and wiping it heavily? Decent wet or a saturated close to. A run or drip?
If you coat it once is that considered a wipe or should it be multiple wipes before your wiping session is done?

More common is probably wetting middle of a Mico fiber pad then wiping on tire in a circular motion until entire tire is wet, then finishing by wiping around tire leaving it wet, that would be 1 wipe
