draggin skin clutches

There have been people using the for sprint racing that have had them come apart in an explosive way with shrapnel spraying all over the track in the Denver area. Most use the Inferno Flame around here. Might be different for LTO?

We used DS for years they work very well and tunable. Literally thousands of hours as every one on the track from multiple clubs used them. Never seen one explode and frankly don't know how it would unless the drum has been turned and swiss cheesed. Everything is contained within the drum. Good clutches.

a guy at my track tried one and did not like it because if it got any oil on the shoe "skin" he said it was game over.

keep in mind this is the opinion of only one guy

Have used the Inferno for a couple of years, but found every time that I encountered sticky track conditions, coming out of slow and mid speed corners caused it to slip and make a horrible grinding noise and vibration (Black + white spring combo), Tested the Draggin Skin next session, gained 3/10ths. Cost is a factor as the Draggin skin is not cheap, but the shoes are also replaceable. As with a lot of things in Karting it is a matter of preference.
