Drilling Gx200 carb

That's not a great idea . You should get you a tapered reamer. The size really depends on experience and casting used . Get you a few carbs to try before jumping in a destroying a good one . You can purchase tapered reamers on ebay quit reasonable. You never want to just bore the carb body straight through. It's a good rule of thumb to maintain a venturi area . Hope this helps

Drilling is out of the question!! A reamer would probably cost you more than sending it out and having somebody do it right.

There are circuits that you will break through and expose. Not all carbs were the same, to get the maximum bore you had to offset it, best done with a milling machine and a boring head then honed. There have been many here before you that have drilled, honed, ground with dremel tools, sanded and filed, consider that the venturi does not have to be round and you can avoid the circuits by removing material in some areas and not others.
