How. Much power (H.P.)can a drum clutch handle s/a clone? They're thinking about implementing a drum clutch rule

the stinger is about the best for higher hp because they have wider shoes and are made for w/f specs but really I wouldn't think in a class like s/a a disc would be a better choice for reliability

I can regularly put just under 30hp through a Draggin'-Skin with noooooooo problems. Best damn drum clutch on the market, bar none. Customer support from Jim Donovan @ Max-Torque cannot be beat.

I saw a freight train open Briggs setup using Noram GE clutches at a UAS race in Phoenix. Won the race.

Side note; it was coolest sounding kart I ever heard. Kind of like a staging AA/Fuel Harley at the drags.
