Hey everyone, I just got a new 7x cam, and I was wondering if it’s considered a slapper cam? Also I’ve been reading about indexing the spark plug for slapper cams, and was wondering which way the plug should be facing? Seen a couple different answers...
 
7X is a slapper cam.
Point the opening of the ground strap of your plug either toward the exhaust port, or toward the middle head bolt on the right hand side of the head (my preference.) Anywhere in between will work so long as the elbow of the ground strap is away from the intake valve (that's what you're trying to avoid.)
