The first two numbers on the date code is 10. was wondering if anyone knew what year they are pretty sure they are a couple years old ,but they are still new just scuffed up a little bit maybe a few laps on them. I am on the soco prep just looking for opinions on what else needs to be done to get them ready. One good thing is the side wall is STIFF I am new to the tire prepping game so any advice is greatly accepted.

The side wall actually is not stiff, its a soft sidewall where it radius' to the contact patch area.
Its a 2010 tire, so they are not new, actually almost 4 years old, depending on what week they were made in since you said they have laps on them. Hard to tell how many laps with an El.
Nothing else needs to be done except for what we talked about, then go race.

Ok I see what your talking about the first inch of sidewall from contact patch is soft but the rest of it is stiff, I would say they have very few laps on them they still have center lines and what I believe is the injection ports still on tires I rolled them today with the inner
