Engine stalling help

So the engine starts fine and will idle fine to begin with. After running on track for a few laps when a yellow/red comes out and they re line the field kart stalls. So tells me as well he thinks it stalled while he was running as well a few times. I turned the idle up to 2400 RPM same problem. What else should I be checking?

Start by checking the carb to make sure dirt isn't getting past the air filter and clogging up the air bleed holes, clean the carb out good with carb cleaner and compressed air. That's a good start
