Looking to upgrade plate engine. Recommendations? A lot of folks I’ve talked to are using Excalibur, thoughts

There are lots of good plate builder out there, your location would play a big part in choice, but IMO the best plate builders currently are Jason Higgy(Higgys house of power) and Cooterman (Xtreme power)

If you are in Indiana you can’t go wrong with Carlson Racing Engines. They have about everything you would need engine and clutch wise and they have a bunch of parts.

Been following your posts about tires, chassis, etc and see youve been doing well enough to win lately. New motors are nice but I am thinking more chassis and tire work might show your current motor is fine. Congrats on your improvements and to the Bobs guys who have helped you but I would hate to see you disappointed in a new engine. Clone motors are so tightly regulated by rules that there isn't a whole lot to gain there if you are now winning. Glad to see you are doing better.
