I'm having heads for my 14hp 8500rpm gx200 tuned motors skimmed to 90 thou, so the resultant head thickness is 71.6mm
But it looks like more can come off.
With a 90 thou skim the heads deck-face to plug tip is 1mm.....and when I stick lumps of plasticine/putty to the piston crown the squish height of the valves is quite safe at 4mm.
Is a 130 or 140 thou skim realistic?
