F200 gas carb on gx390

It is hard to help without any info, is that the carb that came stock on the engine? Burris had a series called the F200 but it was mainly 200cc based engines and they would not be sufficient for a 390.

This is very true.
Just wondering if the f 200 bore is as big or bigger then the stock carb ?
If so it may work for recreational use depending on what that is.

A stock 390 carb has a .830 bore venturi. Stock 390 carbs can maybe be bored out to .940 or so without going through. No idea what a f200 carb size is.

How have you identified it as F200 is that marked on it? Is there a name on Mikuni, Keihin, ShamWow?
I currently have 4 carbs the subject tillotson carb is marked F200 790
I also have a Tillotson hl334wx 516
A Tillotson HL 360C 025
AND A LARGER 34MM BURCO MIKUNI

The tillotson 334wx is around 25-25.5mm and was actually made to be used with the honda/clone/predator engines i am 90% sure...if i am right about that, then that would only work decent for a mostly stock 390, anything more than that and it is just too small of a carb to feed it properly. The Tilly 360C is an alky carb and is closer to 28mm venturi, it could work well for a mild predator with bolt ons. And the 34mm mikuni/burco would be better if you were fully building the 390, with bigger valves, port work and bigger bore. That is all just my opinion and how i would do it if it were me building it
