Favorite tire durometer?

What Flattop1 said. I use the longacre. It is about14 years old. still works well. When I do compare it to other durometers it agrees with them . I bought a digital. Did not like it at all.

PTC - Best durometer out there....BUT, mine never leaves the shop. At the cost of losing it by lending it out, leaving it in someone's pit, dropping it, etc, I carry an Intercomp with me instead. BTW, the Intercomp reads right along side my high dollar PTS, and I'm not worried about having to replace it. ;)
