He should have just asked me and I would have explained the why to him. The reason you don't see 'tall' dandelions in your yard is the tall ones get cut down by a machine called a lawn mower.
Since man started making tools called weapons, tall people are easier targets and just like dandelions, get mowed down first. Look as how our general population has been getting taller. It's not because of some super vitamin, it's because fewer taller people are getting mowed down in war. The 'giants' who once roamed our planet, were just tall people. And women are smaller in height, because small is easier to hide and survive then big. ...
And this is coming from someone who does not believe aliens have crossed our boarders from above. But does believe in one large orange ball in the sky, slowly approaching earth in the distance and then flying off at a right angle. ...
