Flat head keeps dying

I have a briggs flat head that I race and it keeps dying on me when it get up to 196 degrees can some one please help me with what's wrong with it
 
+if you have a stock carb then check your pickup tubes to be SURE they are clean..really doesn't take much to clog one up.


probably need more info on your engine
 
Check Pickup screens for debris, tight valve guide possibly causing valve to not seat properly, and maybe try a different coil. Set gap between coil and flywheel .012"-.014"
