Flat tire

How about breaking down the tire and putting a patch on the inside ?
All of my 'going flat' tires were gashed beyond repair or leaking at the rim.

If you have a local "old time" tire shop in your area, have the hole vulcanized on the inside of the tire. Sometimes just a dab of CA glue over the hole (on the inside) and cover with a thin film of silicone sealant will work.
Plugs won't stay in because of all of the deflection of the contact patch and how thin the rubber is to begin with.
