Flathead cutting out

Before I send my flathead back to the builder is there something I can check to figure out why after only a few laps the motor will cut out in the corners..... the tank isn't too full and I am running a happy cap... diaphragm has been changed out too..... The happy cap is new , could it be defective and causing vent issues I haven't switched it out yet. Could it possibly be a pickup tube problem? Or something else ?

I had that happen to me .check the small pick up tube .some times they just close up I think from the fuel I take the tube off and run a small drill bit through it .that lets more fuel in .worked for me
