per the new rules at the track im running this year we need mufflers. i had a curved angle dump pipe on it but i didnt care for it so i went and found a loop pipe. its nothing like i have ever come across. it loopsand turns down at the back of the tank then curls around and ends up facing the left rear bearing. it works way better than the angle dump pipe as it seems to give my motor a litle extra kick in the pants to help propel my big butt around the track.
so do they make a loop pipe in 3 or 4 stages like the one i describe that i could put a muffler on? or does somebody think it would be feesable to cut the trumpet end off and find a muffler that would fit over the end? i looked in the jc specialty book and i dont really see anything i like. do they make bigger muflers that would fit on the end of a staged pipe? i have access to a welder to make somthing up but i dont want to restrict the flow at the end because i would have to shrink the pipe at the end to get the muffler on. any thoughts?
