Flathead

A couple suggestions . First change the diaphragm . Next blow in the tank through the cap . You should hear fuel move into the carb . If not the carbs plugged . Or the jet .
If you don't have indexing washer use a gasket off another plug , it's really not a problem until you go full throttle and the valves float and hit it .
Just too start a new plug with the proper gap will work .
Last don't pull the flywheel until it's a last resort . There are ways to check it .

Ok. I will try all this stuff and get back to you guys on if it runs. Thanks. I always blow through the fule cap to prime the motor and i was wondering how to tell if i have blown in it to much or to long? should i see fuel if i take the air filter off?

Is TRE still around? I have looked them up but cant find anything. Did they change names?
You all young uns give up way too early . 2 google searches and I found several plus this .

That is the last I have found for them was 2013 like in that picture. Haven’t found anything about them lately. And when I look it up it says permanently closed

I cant find my feeler gauge so i cant adjust the coil. and i have to go get copper washers. But the rachet starter on it keeps messing up and i cant get it taken off. The way i tried to get it of was put a screwdriver in one of the fins and turn the flywheel till the screwdriver is against the gas tank then try and hit the side of the ratchet starter with a socket with and extension on it and hitting the top of the extension with a hammer but it still wont come off.

There is the stupid ratchet starter that is on it.

The coil should say this side out on it .
A square socket will work on there if you can find one ( old time ) or I think a 12 point may fit . If it's a short nose crank the starter ratchet will not work .
I sent you a pm .

I use a 12 point on my electric starter. Take it apart the 4 ) 5/16 bolts and reassemble it with wd40 on everything and it will free up. Or just spray a crap ton of penetrating lube in the small hole on the square snout if nothing else. All your gonna go is break a flywheel. There’s a tool to take those off.
