Flywheel

So if i read right in the 2019 ikf rule book, the stock flywheel on flatheads are illegal now. Is this true or am i miss reading this?

That's the way it looks . Got the big ol finger signifying a change .
Wonder did WKA go the same way ?

The last rule set put out by WKA, only stock 5hp flywheel permitted. Briggs flywheel part #555657 is a legal flywheel
WKA could careless about F/H's, B&S hasn't made cast cams for 15+ years. Yet if you want a new cam and don't have useable core you have to buy a billet which are illegal..

One way too look at it at least IKF makes available parts legal .
New Briggs flywheels are nearly non existent .

True, I'm building a brand new F/H now with all new parts.
You are permitted to use the newer style flywheel with ring gear provision.
They are still available.
Like most parts for the flathead -- they are still available, just at a higher price.
