Food for thought.

How bout a fire slotted head, shaved brows, and the like? Also when milling/sanding the block or head there is a max legal limit. If it unlimited depth how much further should you go before it starts to fall on its face? I bought a new sander and I have a lot of extra 3 hp valves blocks and heads to practice on. My next question would be on valves.

Plate classes its been said you could drill a hole behind the coil .
Through the cylinder . To enhance the cylinder fill .
Doubt it worked very well . Definitely hard on the rings . Unfiltered air .

Not to mention the compression release !

Its a . 850 or bigger .
I think it was a cast peice .
Then theres this .

If the easy spin rule was not a thing in karting would removing it make any notice able gains? Since I'm just mini bikin these days rules like these don't matter to me. That's why I'm asking so many questions beyond the wka rule books.

Easy spin removal should be a small improvement . As it reduces compression .
But makes pull starting tough .
Machined . No longer available .

I read somewhere a guy had a set up for a lathe or a drill press. Said it could be done fairly easy with a file and sand paper. Just wondered if it would be worth the trouble of reworking it and hard recoiling?

If you know what you’re doing it can easily be taken off with a file and sandpaper. I’d just buy a cam that didn’t have it. Anything Dyno that ends with SS.
rectilinear? For 3 hp mini bike engine. I would use my 5s but they won't fit. Could also use one of these harbor freight junks but I refuse til I can't find any more flatheads

Dump the carb & tank from your 5HP flatty, install a Walbro or Mikuni carb and wa-la, I'm thinking it'll fit your mini-bike frame. We've helped many bike guys do this in the past...along with some other mild to wild internal hop-ups. :)
You can file the ez-spin compression release on your 3HP cam. It can be found on the closing side of the intake lobe.
I would NOT recommend this on a heat treated cam, or even one that is running higher spring pressures!

Always modify a fun power carb .
For a adjustable jet .
