Frame question.

I'm taking my buddy's road course kart and making some changes. Just for fun. Right now we run about 30% cross. We are going to cut out the rear cross bar. My thinking is add a bar in from rr axle point then angled towards lf wheel. Figured the LR would be soft and the weight would transfer to rr quicker allowing me to run more cross. Or am I thinking backwards. Have bar go from LR axle point towards rf wheel.

I need to figure out how to attach pictures. It's an road course champ chat my buddy's running on an oval. With out to many changes we are going to change the rear cross bar and update the frontend. Need to figure out how much lead to build in the front also.

When you say road course, do you mean a Sprint track? I think of a road course as something like Watkins Glen. In years gone by we called racing at a track like that, enduro racing.
