Is there ever a time when a fresh no internal maxxis is faster than one that has internal?

That's a loaded question because of course it depends on who's hands the tires are in, BUT provided in both cases the tires where in the hands of someone good with tires and knows the internal it takes, the answer would be NO 99.9 % of the time, to get max speed from Maxxis they need some internal, amounts will vary from track to track.

Rarely will you internal a Burris.
With our tire program, Maxxis ALWAYS get internal -- some harsh, some not so harsh, depending on the application.

Depends on which Burris and which tracks to be prepared for all conditions , for here all 55s get Internal ( and yes they work here ), Some 33s get Internal, that special set of 22s for just the right time get internal, and some 11s get Internal for early spring and late fall showers.
