I had a Walbro fuel pump on our blackplate motor and it keeps leaking out of that top hole. Is there recommendations on another fuel pump to use?

Genuine Walbro, or the WMS version?
Use the Briggs fuel pump - it'll work well, but you'll likely need to smear some silicone over the vent on it to keep oil from bleeding out.
