Is there any special way to route the fuel tank vent line? Or is it fine just to the line pointing down (so no rain/debris can fall in) and zip tie to to whatever is handy?
We have steering post mounted tanks on the dirt karts, the vent line hangs down and is zip tied to the post, on the floor mounted asphalt karts, we don’t use a vent line.
I like to put an old fuel filter to keep dust/dirt, gnats, etc, from getting in the fuel tank. When you replace the fuel filter, put the removed one on the vent line. Swap both whenever you change fuel filters.
