Gas leak

Hello everyone. Can you help me, please.

I use a one-man stand kart.

When I tilt my kart to raise it or lower it, I get gas from the carburetor onto the asphalt (from a rubber tube). Is normal?

Carbs got a vent on top of the float bowl. You tilt it over gas spills out. Supposed to have a catch can on that line.

Same as tipping a cup of coffee to an angle. If the cup is full enough it will spill. Put a cap and vent hose on the cup and it still spills.

If your hose is soft enough, you can clamp it with a cloths pin while you're in transport.

That's why it's a rule to run the overflow to a catch can.

Does your overflow tube from the bottom of the carb drain freely when the kart is level? If not, might be a contributing factor. Gravity drains that overflow tube, so if the tube is looped or something like it, fixing the issue would help
