Gearing at Raceway Park NJ

Anyone running at raceway park NJ? My son is running 12/60 on a birel chasis. The back straight is probably around 300ft. It seems like it is not hitting the speed it should. The motor is completely stock but plan on doing the stage 1 and removal of the governor. Any suggestions on the gearing would be greater appreciated.

Never been there , it seems its a road course.
I would go up one driver to a 13 . Even more if it still builds speed till it slows down .

We raced flatheads there in 08 and 09 we were on 14 65
