gearing for 3/8 mile dirt track

If you know where your engine reaches peak horsepower, I would want to keep the rpm as close to that number as possible, what ever ratio that requires.

If tracks making good bite you should be able to pull an 18-65 ish, especially for the Heavy, If it's lacking bite then a 17 driver 63 ish 17 might be best for super heavy. ( and Yes I know there different Ratios )
