We almost always find that 1 tooth less (than SR clone) on our blue plate is optimal at 95% of tracks. Many times my son will turn as fast or faster laptimes than MED or Heavy. A lot of it has to do with your engine builders cam choice and timing too, not all engines will turn 6800-6900 with a plate.
