I’m hoping to return to DIS (Speedway)this year in a kart for the first Time in 30+ years. It’s kind of a bucket list thing. I’m looking for gearing help to run a Birel MX32 TAG kart with a IAME Leopard in a few classes on the speedway. I also have some PRD Fireball engines ready to go. I bought the Heager 16 tooth belt driver for the engine clutch and need to know what axle sprocket to start with so I can have what I need to go up or down a few teeth from there. I weigh 215 myself plus the kart. This is on a sit-up sprint kart.

My starting point each year is 16/73 when we were running Leopards/TaG. Ran belt drive as well. Loved that setup. This year I'll be aboard a Rotax and back to the oil chain drive. See you there! Been doing Daytona since '92 back when we had 70+ in Yamaha Sprint days. Be sure to come say hello, we'll be Streeter Super Stands at Garage #55
