Been away from karting for 10-12 years. See people on here talking about keeping reaogears between 57-63. What is the the theory behind this. Thanks
 
seems to be the best with the clone engine .
Ten Years you missed a lot of ratio/gear discussions . some ineresting and Funny Stuff >

With the big gears you want to stay around a 60, with the small gears you want to stay around a 50. For a clone these seem to be where their sweet spot for gearing is.
